On October 22, 2023, Reverend Father Awulu Innocent Arome CSSp, a paragon of compassion and dedication, marked a significant milestone in his journey of service to humanity by launching the Practical Living in Christ Humanitarian Foundation, a testament to his enduring faith and deep-rooted desire to alleviate the suffering of those in need.

The day began with the promise of new beginnings, as friends, dignitaries, and distinguished guests gathered to witness the realisation of Father Awulu's vision. As the sun's golden rays fell on the globe, the atmosphere was packed with expectation and joy, echoing the notion that this was no ordinary occasion, but rather a celebration of unlimited compassion and selflessness.

During a solemn mass presided over by Reverend Father Awulu on the launching day of the foundation, the essence of generosity was eloquently expressed via impassioned prayers and soul-stirring hymns. In his moving homily, Father Awulu emphasised the inextricable link between humanity and compassion, emphasising the transformative power of true acts of kindness that come from the heart. Following Saint Mother Theresa of Calcutta, Fr. Awulu asserts that our mission is to reach out to one or two people in need one step at a time, using the little available resources at hand, rather than trying to solve all human problems at once or requiring a large amount of money before acting.

The unveiling of the Practical Living in Christ Humanitarian Foundation heralded a new chapter in the annals of philanthropy, symbolized by vibrant t-shirts, caps, and an outpouring of donations from the assembled throng. Reflecting on his sixteen-year journey in the Lord's vineyard, Father Awulu credited the foundation's success to divine providence and his constant devotion to the welfare of others. With humility and gratitude, he appreciated the community's important assistance as well as the relentless efforts of individuals who shared his goal of a compassionate and empathic world.He promised and reassured all donors, supporters, volunteers, benefactors and benefactresses, friends and well -wishers home and abroad of the judicious use of their generous supports and never to betray their trust!

From the scourge of poverty and disease to the insidious grasp of human trafficking and the threat of terrorism, the foundation serves as a beacon of hope in the face of adversity, providing comfort and assistance to society's most vulnerable citizens.
